Commander's Thermal Sight (CTS)
Kollsman's Commander's Thermal Sight is an affordable, high-performance, high-quality system that provides the armored vehicle commander a closed hatch panoramic view of the battlefield surrounding his vehicle. The commander can maintain awareness of the situation on the battlefield around the vehicle. Simple joystick controls allow him to point the sight in any direction and view it on a display in front of him. Simple graphical symbology on the display lets him know what direction he is looking in and where the turret is pointing relative to his line of sight. The three field of view lens allow him to pick out targets in his wide field of view and change to the narrow field of view for ID and hand-off to the gunner.
Main Benefits:
- Greatly improved crew battle performance and survivability
- Panoramic battlefield view
- Perform closed-hatch silent watch with vehicle engine turned-off
- Early detection, recognition, and ID of target out to the range of the gunner's sight
- Connectivity with gunner for target hand-off
Long Range Thermal Imager (LRTI)
Kollsman's High-Performance, Hand-Held Observation Sight is designed to meet the dismounted-soldier, scout, and special operation units' requirements for a high-performance, hand-held, day/night surveillance sight. Optional integral fluxgate compass and GPS receiver allow it to be used in a targeting role when mated to a laser rangefinder. Currently on contract with USMC as the LRTI AN/PAS-22.
Main Features:
- Light-weight, hand-held package
- Dual FOV
- Battery Operated or external 24 VDC power source
- Integral high-resolution OLED display & Biocular viewing optics
- Rugged construction
This thermal sight is based on advance InSb detector technology to provide enhanced target detection. The sight features high-quality imagery, high sensitivity, automatic contrast and brightness, small compact package, and an affordable price.
