General Aviation Vision System (GAViS™)
The Kollsman GAViS™ has been developed to improve situation awareness by extending the pilot's forward vision at night and some low visibility conditions. The product is designed to be mounted like an aircraft antenna without need for extra equipment such as windows and fairings lowering total cost of ownership.

System Components
GAViS™ is composed of 1 LRU. It requires +28VDC aircraft power and supplies standard RS170 analog video for display in the cockpit. The GAViS™ is mounted externally to the aircraft skin anywhere the forward field of view is open.
GAViS™ is readily available and is supplied to the US Government through the GSA Advantage website located at www.GSAAdvantage.gov.
