Night Targeting System (NTS)
Kollsman's Night Targeting System (NTS) is an airborne fire control system used on the AH-1 Helicopter to designate targets for the Hellfire and TOW Missiles for use on the AH-1 Helicopter. The NTS greatly improves the tracking and attack capabilities of the AH-1 Cobra family of helicopters. Employing state-of-the-art microprocessor technology with an advanced thermal imager and CCD, NTS will improve daytime visibility and provide full combat operations during the daytime, at night, and in poor visibility conditions. Highly reliable and combat proven, the NTS can be adapted to future enhancements.
Main Features:
- Compatible with multi-armament, multi-role operations
- Automatic target tracking eases gunner's workload during engagement
- Equipped with a TV camera and VCR to provide mission/training record
- All TV and FLIR capabilities operate in parallel with Direct View Optics (DVO)
- Operational in both narrow and wide fields-of-view

TOW Ground Launch System
Kollsman has been a principle supplier of the TOW thermal night sight since 1978 and is now the industry leader for TOW-2 Ground Launchers. In addition to providing the complete TOW ground system, Kollsman can upgrade basic TOW or ITOW systems to the enhanced TOW-2 configuration, which improve performance, reliability and reduce life-cycle-costs.
