Kollsman, an Elbit Systems of America Company, Named Business of the Year for Manufacturing and Technology
MERRIMACK, NH, June 21, 2007 – Kollsman, Inc., an Elbit Systems of America, LLC company, was named 2007 NH Business of the Year for Manufacturing and Technology by Business NH Magazine and the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. Kollsman received this award for its outstanding civic contributions and exceptional performance within its industry.
A screening committee made up of chamber of commerce executives had the difficult task of paring the remarkable field of applicants to three semifinalists. From there, a Panel of Excellence that included executives from last year's winning companies selected the winners. This is the 17th year of the recognition program and awards were presented at a special recognition luncheon.
Kollsman employs approximately 600 people at its Merrimack facility, designing and manufacturing avionics flight instruments, high-tech electro-optic systems and subsystems for U.S. and allied military forces, homeland security systems and medical instrumentation.
