Kollsman Continues to Invest in Local Community
MERRIMACK, NH, May 1, 2007 – Kollsman, Inc., an Elbit Systems of America, LLC company, has teamed with Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Nashua (NHSGN) to provide financial assistance to convert one of the city’s former elementary schools into six safe, affordable, apartments for working families. The project was launched to address the pressing need for low-income housing in the region.
NHSGN, a community based non-profit organization and charter member of NeighborWorks America, provides home-buyer education and develops and manages low to moderate income rental housing with the help of private and federal funding.
Kollsman's Executive Vice President and General Manager, Randy Moore, states "The need for affordable housing is an issue facing the Greater Nashua area and our region of the country. We are proud to be assisting the NHSGN in their venture to make a difference in the community."
